“The business  of beautiful is second nature to me.” 

    A lot of clients want to know how Don became such a passionate Hair Stylist at such a young age. His answer is the best. “My whole family are hair stylists and some of the best in the business.” Working next to his Mom for over 6 years in the family salon and attending hair shows with her in San Francisco was all it took for a career and life in the beauty industry to become a reality.   

As many of the leader’s in the industry will attest, Don’s career has spanned the “best decades” of hair styling in America; from the Avant-guarde eighties and nineties, to the more chic and polished hair of now.

    Just like his brother, Oribe editorial stylist Eric Gabriel, Don has always been instinctively influenced by the essence of celebrities and rock icons. Although getting the opportunity to style Stevie Nicks whenever she plays the Bay Area,  Don is equally grateful for his vast San Francisco based clientele who have followed his evolution and cherish the freshness of creative ingenuity.
